I would like to introduce the Hitachi Bypass in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, in this video.
The Hitachi Bypass is nicknamed "Hitachi Seaside Road”.
The Hitachi Bypass is constructed along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean from northern to central Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
It connects Kawarago-cho and Tajiri-cho in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The total length of the bridge is approximately 10 km, and it is one of the few overhead bridges on a public road in Japan.
When visiting Hitachi City, we recommend a drive along the Hitachi Bypass, which runs over a marine viaduct, a rarity in Japan.
