最近のエンタメニュースで知りましたがグループ結成15年になるそうです。
はじめてこのグループの名前を知ったのは、東京都新宿区神楽坂にある善國寺（別名：毘沙門天、毘沙門様）でした。
このお寺はジャニーズ寺として有名でジャニーズのファンがたくさん訪れるお寺です。

「絵馬（えま）」とは…お寺や神社で販売をしています。数百円程度で購入して「叶えたいお願い」をその場で書いて、絵馬を決まった場所に吊るします。
神楽坂の善國寺（毘沙門天）の絵馬で「Hey! Say! JUMP」という名前を知ったのは15年くらい前になるということです。
